Hola. My name's KT. I'm a writer and I am currently in the midst of a tale of the destruction of the human spirit and also of one's relationship once one gets involved with the underground crime/drug scene of LA and the outlying areas. It centers around two brothers who are half Navajo indians named Joaquin and Rafe Richter. There's also a really colorful supporting character named Maverick who adds a little flavor. There's gansters and street races and gun fights and car crashes and Native Americans and it's about 400 pages, so I'm quite proud of it.


Basically, I go to school, I write all day long trying to avoid boredom. I dwindle into constant admiration for celebrities or fictional characters. I'm slowly preparing for my future while warranting myself ample time for entertainment.

I love music. 311, 311, 311! I like a lot of stuff. Mozart's my love so I listen to a lot of classical music. However, I am more of a rocker than anything else. 311, The Offspring, Blink 182, 311, Everclear. Plus a lot of "old" stuff like The Eagles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Loverboy: whatever I feel like. But mostly 311.

I love the Godfather. It's just a great series and Al Pacino is the ultimate. Plus, Marlon, DeNiro and Andy Garcia. BELLISIMO!

Other than that, I've been known to watch a lot of movies. I'm a film entusiast. I've seen a lot and I'm interested in more. I appreciate an artist's drive taking them all the way to the top. People say I know too much because I can name off actors found in the background of obscure films that no one's heard of and I usually know a lot about the directors, actors, and behind-the-scenes stuff. Lately I've been pondering the actual film production and I'm looking forward to maybe taking a hands-on course about that in college.

Books: They're funny. I like to make my own. The Catcher in the Rye, Cat's Cradle, Dead Eye Dick, Slaughterhouse Five, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, A Walk to Remember, Harry Potter series with my dad The Alchemist, Night, Romeo and Juliet, Where the Heart Is, No Flying in the House, Diving for the Moon, etc. I really admire Stephen King, JK Rowling, William Shakespeare. Kurt Vonnegut.
